What better place for love and romance than the Polis region, the land where legend has it, Aphrodite once frolicked with Adonis, her lover. With secluded coves, sun-drenched beaches, sparkling blue seas and breath-taking sunsets, the area has everything a couple could want.
Plan an outdoor civil wedding ceremony anywhere you like in the region. You can get married on the beach and, why not, by the grotto at the Baths of Aphrodite! Or you can book the town hall for your vows. Whether you’re committing for a lifetime, or reaffirming your vows, the area provides the perfect backdrop, with some of the most beautiful and romantic locations. And with all-year sunshine practically guaranteed, you are certain to have a day to remember.
Drink a toast to your future with one of the oldest wines in the world, under the starriest of skies to the accompaniment of the night cricket’s song. Impress your guests with a lavish banquet of local dishes or international cuisine. And after the excitement of the day is over, allow yourself to relax and be pampered at a top class hotel, or feel closer to nature in an authentic back-to-basics family-run establishment.
